Chinatown, the Market and Dim Sum

Chinatown, the Market and Dim Sum
Brian and I got knocked out of tournament today and decided to take advantage of the time off to explore this beautiful city a little bit more. We started the day by meeting on Bondi Road breakfast nook called Aqua where everyone feasted on eggs of their choosing and Turkish toast, fresh squeezed juices and coffee to die for. We then packed 11 people in our Hutterite van which for the average citizens can only accommodate 8 uncomfortably. Somehow we managed to get everyone in. Brian decided it was a good time for me to learn Norsk and switched the GPS to speak to me in Norwegian. I must admit my Norsk is a little rusty and every time I screwed up he would split a gut in laughter. A half tank and an hour of driving by educated guesswork we arrived within striking distance of the Paddington Market (Paddy market). After a brilliant parallel park job, despite comments to the contrary, we proceeded like a band of locusts on the market. We passed through Chinatown and made note of the most popular restaurants so that after the men and child folk ran out of steam, they could take repose at a great dim sum restaurant and wait for the women to finish the damage they would inflict on our pocketbooks.
