Waikiki beach

I think the best part of our planning decision was to start In Hawaii and let the kids and ourselves relax a little before we begin the big trek. Its only day two and the kids are soaking up as much sun and fun as possible. Emily's friend Mecca has decided to join us in Hawaii for a week. She will be arriving this evening and we will squish her in to our condo. We have two condos both of which are about 300 square feet each if you want to be generous. We have Tracie's dad (Stan) and the boys in one and the rest of us in the other. Each Condo has one bedroom bathroom kitchen and sitting room c/w pull out couch. With a big group like ours we have to cook almost every meal otherwise we would be broke before we left for Australia. We even pack lunches for the beach. Food costs are high in Hawaii but that has always been the case.
